Rain Poem by Dean Bottomley

Rain

Rain, and rain, and rain;
Again, again, again.
Water everywhere
But nobody seems to care.

Homes both flood and fall:
The broken down sea wall.
Rails are hung in the air
The trains are going nowhere!

The land sodden wet
But rain falls on it yet.
God will this never end?
It’s driving me round the bend!

Councils, hands they wring
But nobody does a thing.
Where are all the MP’s
The country is on its knees.

Experts make me sick
They built the Titanic.
Volunteers hit the mark,
Like Noah, who built the ark.
