Rain Poem by Ashleigh Catherine

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Cobalt clouds gave
way to a spring shower
Rain that dances on the ground
Rain that soaks through the trees,
that displays an illusion of the rainbow
Rain that softly taps as it hits the asphalt
Rain thar freshens
all in its path.
That falls like shattered glass
Rain that whispers on my eyelashes
singing sweet songs of serenity
taking away all there was to see
so there was nothing but mist.
