Rain Poem by Madi Lynn

Rain

Falling on my windows
Just the perfect time
My soul, I wish
Would be washed away of all this grime
Cleansing yet deceiving
It seems it will never end
But perhaps my day will be bright, yet again
Soaking through the skin
Of life, so very thin
Leaving streaks and dust
Like memories and distrust
Let's never think of them again
The rain of which I speak
One day, you too, will meet
But the sun will shine again
And you will truly win
