Quivering Poem by Thomas Plotz

Quivering

She's quivering on the sidewalk
Standing there, long hair, trying to be strong,
Shaking unsteady wobbly and weak.

Trembling at the sight of me

I walked over and gave her a hug
She said your real, you're here;
You're not an apparition,
Phantom spirit, glimmer or ghost

For l was gone, too long
For l been gone, too long
From all my ones I Love

My Sons and Daughters
Wives and Spouses
Brothers and Sisters, and
Other family too

She was quivering, disbelieving,
For I had been,

Lost

Too

All

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
She was on the sidewalk. Although she suffers from PTSD, I was a trigger or key; because I was with her, then.
