Rail Blaze Poem by Thomas Plotz

Rail Blaze

With the setting sun, train rails are illumined with blaze of fire; blinding you when you're looking down the tracks, toward the sun. They do look like hot ribbons of steel, that connect this place to all points west and beyond. With the setting sun the tracks become alive with dance; shimmering with light and song. This continues till dusk.
Sunset light reflects upon our sky with red, orange, and purple; till the sun parts company with us, and allows the night sky to show its wonders to us. Night cools, allowing rest, and sleep.
