Quiet Though It Still Be Dusk Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Quiet Though It Still Be Dusk

The nearby fount is
Quiet though
It still be dusk

In other times
I know it whispering
As waters fall and rise
Even in the night.

But to-night, to-night
Its heart burdened be
Burdened, burdened.
