Quaker's Oath Poem by Antonio Liao

Quaker's Oath

passion of honesty relief of
an endlessness truth,
the might
that dream to survive for service to God

hail on our wounds the century
old tradition
of hope and care, respect and understand
that captures the heart involved

oh! tender audience of beloved
children of God, lay down the staff
and find the righteous oblation of the
past; guiding servant to live and to die
in the bosom arm of love

let the blooming star receive our appeal
the lantern of the sky refrain, for the
night close may not if the heaven is
dark

open our heart and receive the wisdom
we adore, Amen...
