Pushed Poem by Celeste Bracey

Pushed

Rating: 4.5

'I am tired of the pushing'
Tired pushing the babies out
Tired of being pushed
Tired being pushed in the lines
This happen to me time after time.

'Tired of my husband pushing me around'
Tired pushing the grocery cart
Tired pushing my children into education
Tired pushing the unwelcome out of my door
Do you understand I will not take this anymore?

'If any woman can sympathize or empathize'
With what I have been dealing with
Then you can understand
I am just tired of being pushed.

I think it's time you stood your ground, though sacrifices are still vital every now and then. A nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
