Purple Suns Poem by A.J. McKinley

Purple Suns

Rating: 2.7

Purple suns and glyphs obscure
In a dream we met
Swirling, enticing, esoteric I'm blue
Yearning for conscience
I sat under the purple sun
A picture spoke
Your words did fly
In a dream we met
Your soul called for mine
Symbols of truth
Like monoliths of sin
Azure mysteries of beauty denied
All beneath the Alaskan sky
