Purity Poem by Valentin Busuioc

Purity

the child jumps happily in my arms
and tells me

daddy
I prefer the greeting with the touch of the fist
rather than the one with the handshake

why
I ask him

because it was also you who told me
that as big as our fist is
so is our heart
