Puddles Poem by Ima Ryma

Puddles

Rating: 5.0

The two of us take a long walk.
I kind of know what's on your mind.
You feel it's time to have that talk
Of now cutting the ties that bind.
The two of us together bound,
Then suddenly the rain does fall.
The puddles form upon the ground.
The two of us do heed the call.
We laugh and hold hands and begin
To jump into each puddle wet,
The both of us soaked to the skin,
As happy as when we first met.

Into each puddle we do hop.
I hope the puddles never stop.

Nature has a way of transforming emotions suddenly. I love the idea that puddles don't cause inconvenience, rather they unite the lovers!

How can you tell if it's raining cats and dogs? When you step into a poodle!
