Promises Poem by Danny Draper

Promises

Storm go,
day glow
rainbow.

New moon,
weavers loom
cocoon.

New leaves,
deciduous trees
winters ease.

Precarious,
perilous
chrysalis.

Day length,
seasons strength
summers breath.

Emerge glistening,
wings stretching
calls beckoning.

From calamity,
in canopy
comes majesty.

A lullaby,
flutter by
butterfly.
