Life Or Death Poetry

Promises

I am so sorry
You can hate me I deserve it
I have never felt so selfish in my life
You can do what you like to me
Treat me as you wish
And if you need anything
I will be here to listen
And if you need to go
I will be here when you need me
Because I love you
And promises are promises
No madder how it is sewn
Maybe if you want
you can get your revenge on me
For I am in your hands
I am yours
To go where you
Want me to go

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
