Promise Poem by sweet strawberry

Promise

Rating: 5.0

We made a promise
thinking it'll never break,
ended with a kiss
that caused my body to shake.

Then suddenly i made a mistake
that caused you to think of me as a disgrace.
As the days passed by,
I wished of nothing but to die.

You have no idea what was on my mind,
God knows there's nothing that i have done.
I'm wishing we could just put it all behind,
I wish you'd believe that you're the only one.

I hope you don't think i'm a fake,
Please give us a chance to communicate.
I swear i have nothing to hide
I swear i forever want you by my side.

You tell me the promise has been broken,
You tell me I need to get myself straight
All i need is a silent moment
To ask God what is my fate.
