Promenade Poem by Tyler Abraham

Promenade

As I lie along the promenade,
Footsteps of the weary passerby
Render me sleepless during the night.
While steeping in the warm breath of our moon
I dream of a life relieved of all basic human interaction.
The absence of all things living greatly appeals to me and
I quickly become lost in thought.
After coming to, I cast my suspicions upon thee raucous strangers;
Perpetrators of disturbance against this otherwise still and subtle twilight.
