Prologue Number 38 Poem by W. Blaine Wheeler

Prologue Number 38

For a time I was transfixed
and forgot to wonder
and peer into the future.
I did not measure how much to give
by how much I would receive.
That transfixed time I saw only you.
Was it because you saw only me?
