Pressure Poem by Heidi Moshpitee

Pressure

Lying in bed
Can not sleep
Tears roll down
From her eyes onto her cheek
Forgotten promises
Broken so soon
The walls are closing in on her
In this room
The yelling and screaming
When will it ever end?
When can the rules
Of this household bend
