Present Political Trends Poem by Roula Pollard

What do we need friends, world citizens?
To speak or not to speak in metaphors?
To speak along routes and words we understand?
Such as clear water from certain well-countries
crystal clear power of water words?
Ask the politicians to provide it.
The water pipes date from the 19th century
so are political ideas about present starvation.
Ask your country for new water pipes, for clear water of
consciousness. Ask your legislators to speak through clear words.
Was fanaticism killed in prehistoric times?
Are governments imitation of what?
I though, they de-learnt non lasting values long ago.
A few voices of humanity speak in prison language
And those surviving are kept where?
Theoretical politics killed the masses since antiquity.
Practical politics overtax the poor.
Fair politics, do they exist?
In peace politics, even
the heart of rocks
flourished
always
