As these feelings build inside
As these memories come to mind
I stop an wonder
Why, oh, why am I betting myself inside
Oh, you were my best friend
My true friend
And promised to be with me till the end
You said you loved me and you’ll never let go
You said, “I never want you to be alone”
You promised if I pushed away you’d pull
Pull me towards you
You promised you’d never say goodbye
Now we’re over, our relationship has died
I stopped and wounded how did I lose you and did I really loss you
Oh, you were my best friend
My true friend
Now this sadness fills my heart as these tears fall past my shattering heart
Now you’re saying goodbye
I can’t take it I can’t bare it
