the two most precious things
happen to be opposites
they are never forgetton
the laughter and smiles
from our children as they grow
equaled in impact only by
the tears running down their faces
funny how two opposites can mean
so much, to so many, so often
searching your own memories
you'll find those particular two
are the quickest to arise
