Sleep, sleep my precious heart
Close thy eyes and dream, dream, dream
Hold close the love that you once knew
Let it sing with every beat

A pleasant countenance
Rush through your veins
Breathe him in like life’s source
Capture every essence of his soul

Bid him stay till mornin’ light
Hold him near chase away all the fears
Keep love alive and forever shall he remain surreal
Grow not weary of the dream

For dreams keep thee alive
And hope comes to all who believe
Perchance someday the enhancement will proper be
For some dreams do come true
