Praying For A Child Poem by Kamarudheen Amayam

Praying For A Child

Mixing my pleasure
With your pain
In equal measure
We get a child.
A healthy; well-behaved
White, plump child.

For that:
Do I take pleasure?
Can you feel pain?
Do we have the time?
