Prayer Poem by Madathil Rajendran Nair

Prayer

Rating: 4.5

Someone once complained
He was in real bad straits
I asked him if he prayed
He said he did day and night

Poor guy was secure
But he was not sure
A prisoner of expectations
A seeker after inexhaustible wants

To have the will and time
To sit and pray is a boon
With grace granted by Heavens
Know you unthinking ones

Good times have begun
If in prayer you get drowned
The day you forget surrender
Know for sure you are asunder

Prayer

The meditation and prayer that gives immense pleasure and calmness to mind and to lead a holistic life. In fact only material profit is not sufficient for humans where the peace of mind and contentment is the real asset to real life situations and which is ever seems to be greatest asset of human birth.
