I fully agree with you! Our prayer to God should be more of thankfulness than supplications to get more blessings. When we look around, we will see that we are much more blessed than many who are steeped in misery and want!
What a wonderful thought that we must put to heart. Gratefulness is one of the great virtues that we should always practice before God. The blessing of existence is more than enough to show our thankfulness. Wonderfully written.

You have rightly said that we should pray God with thankfulness without hope to get wealth from him. We get fruits as per our karma, this is the law of nature. This is a beautiful poem with lofty theme. Thanks.
