Pomegranate Tree
Pomegranate fruit is tasty it grows in small tree,
Scientifically it is known as Punica granatum,
Deciduous shrub in the family of Lythraceae,
Tallness of tree is five to eight metres.
Falling light of street on this, it shines,
Carrying leaves in branches and unripe fruits,
Outer green and red colours, inside red seeds,
Making juice we take taste in spring and summer.
Arils are juicy seeds around six hundreds we find,
Encapsulated in white pith fruit nourishes taste,
Having low calories with high fiber and vitamins,
Phtyochemicals promote health of heart in muse.
Fruit has role in preventing cancer and diseases,
All leaves, flowers, skin, roots and stems are useful,
Taste refreshes mind filling with purity and peace,
Sweetness is poured by nature by command of God.
Golden orange outer skin and gelatinous flesh,
A native from North Africa and Western Asia,
This has grown and given its taste to this world,
Pomegranate is graceful for us getting grace of God.
