Politics Past Ghost Haunts Recycles Poem by Terence George Craddock

Politics Past Ghost Haunts Recycles

Rating: 5.0

politics that was no longer is past spent
recycles resurfaces reimposes redictates
dark evil ambitions claims of past eras

pattern relates to recipe politics now
armies increased weapons updated
dictated lives propaganda explosions

will be formula for profit politics tomorrow
will be formula for shake down deals tomorrow
will be formula for redistributing seized resources

will be formula for elite possession of global wealth
simple recipe lend nest egg wealth interest applied
to both sides in conflict back both sides in conflict

profit from both sides in conflict back both all sides
a sure winner guaranteed who cares which side wins
swimming in deep oceans waves blood guilt sins

who cares what the butcher's bill will be?
who cares how many young men lose limbs lives?
who cares how many civilians in terror lose lives?

Just merrily sell war to mass baby spoon fed public...
Just merrily sell media justice war to propaganda swallowing public...
Just merrily watch profits mount mountains of money roll in...

an acquisition system effective historically blood bath brutal
war is an effective method of invading stealing appropriating
another countries land right to live freedom wealth resources...

invasion abrupt brutal lays claim to all taken decisive brutal
happy go to ploy super power lovely last resort diplomacy
lucky roll of dice if invasion pans out but ashes in wind if fails...
