Poison Poem by Ian McArthur

Poison

(I don't write as much as I used to since school ended for me, so i thought after finding this site that I'd post my old poems, and maybe get myself reinvigorated for new writing as well.)

'I planted poison in the ground
I've seen it sell and form a mound
From the seed that I had sown
Watching over, it has grown
Sprouting roots that draw in hate
Reaching further, this thirst to sait
Leaves so numerous in coffin black
Reminisce of mass grave stack
here and there are corpse flowers
all the air about them sours
Fruit of sin begins to bar
Like the bubbles born of tar
Bursting spreads the evil far
Another seed in world to char.'
