Pointillism Poem by Sonny Rainshine

Pointillism

Rating: 5.0

It doesn’t take
a lot of blue
to turn yellow
into green.

It doesn’t take
a lot of clouds
to produce
a summer shower.

It doesn’t take
much hurt
to make us
bitter, like
green persimmons.

It doesn’t take
a lot of words
to make a child
feel unloved.

But it does take
a lot of effort
to carefully choose
the colors we place
on our palette
everyday.

A lovely trip on yours Sonny, there is an 'of' missing near the end. It is so true, we paint every colour and which we decide to exhibit should be a tended decision. We have a responsibility as poets to give a wide colour scheme. Life is a rainbow after all. Smiling at you, Tai
