Poetry's Rights Poem by Sandra Feldman

Poetry's Rights

Rating: 5.0

No one can write,
Or say with delight,
The enlightened words,
That Poetry, writes,
To capture the essence
Of Life's brightest light
To express the presence
Of Love's abstract might,
Only a poem
Can do it so right.

Oh, how very true his is, when we place our words in poetry, they become holy in emotion, sanctified for the sacred service of conveying emotions with the deepest depth of feeling, and to what end? As you said...to express the presence of loves abstract might..the essence of life's brightest light.......the gift of a poet is to put so much into so few words, you have done this again Sandra, well done!
