Feeling inspired
Yet I can´t seem to be able to
Put the words together
In a desperate attempt to sound coherent
My mind is lost amidst
Thoughts that are far from being fluent
All the things I have experimented
Run erratically trough my head
The love that never was
The friend that´s gone
The angel with a broken wing
That still managed to fly gracefully
How do you repair?
A mistake done in the past
That´s haunting you
Leaving you with no air
Laughter is all I can hear
Right now
Trying to avoid the rebound
I write down the words
Frenetically
Trying to keep up
With yesterday resounds
Inevitably
Putting down the pen now
Still feeling inspired
My life is my poetry.
