Poetic Justice Poem by Aryaman Naik

Poetic Justice

Rating: 4.3

Once upon a time,
There lived in India
A prolific writer of verse
He wrote poems so fast
His readers would scarcely long last.

He wrote on Cat, Bat and Rat
And, when they too went into hiding,
Rhymed a cold Can with a hot Pan
And asked his readers for their “election”
When all that he meant was what was their selection.

The readers decided to honour him
And after much deliberations
Came to the conclusion
That they must do him poetic justice,
And conferred on him the title of
The One and the Only Phata-Phat Poetice.
