Poems Are Far Away
POEMS ARE FAR AWAY
Poems are far away
They have gone to another universe.
In this one our enemies
Plot our death
And we struggle to understand
How to move.
So much has been given
So many sacrifices made
And still after all these years
We are fighting for our lives
As if it were day one.
God, how I pray for Israel
Give us the strength and wisdom
To endure what we must
And survive.
