Poem No: 32. Man's Life Is Too Short To Tell Full Story

Rating: 5.0

Man's life is too short to tell full story
As any time he may sink in Time's sea.
For his work he'll be placed in history;
Or he'll lie in the grave without worry.

My dear! do you know how much I love you?
I do work tiredlessly only for you.
Any time Time may kidnap and kill me;
Or he may spoil our kinship forcefully.

How can I hold Time's wheels or defeat him?
Our youth and beauty shall be trod by Time.
Like a devil he'll devour you and me.
But he will never wipe out my poetry.

My dear! my Love for you will fade never.
My verses will keep it green for ever.
