Poem No: 24. Evening Passed; Night Has Fallen Slowly. Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Poem No: 24. Evening Passed; Night Has Fallen Slowly.

Rating: 5.0

Evening passed; night has fallen slowly.
Frost is just rattling with breaking chimney.
The North Wind is now blowing and roaring
And from biting cold Earth is suffering.

Only those, very close friends to Nature
Being under the fresh sky filled with stars
Sing a melancholy song with crying
And remind us their pain and suffering.

We have made a world of passion and Love.
The North Wind retreats by the hill of Love.
Frost is afraid of the warmth of our Love.
Only spring prevails in the world of Love.

Winter won't come and we must not suffer
As long as we two will love each other.
