Please Don'T Say Goodby Poem by Barry Blander

Please Don'T Say Goodby

Fingers of snow
Flicker silvery
In the nascent night.
Somewhere apple blossoms shimmer,
Dappled with sunlight.
Horses, fleet of foot
Dance in a circle of white.
I can taste your tears
Falling from the stars.
Oh you, you who are more virgin
Than tomorrow
Please don't say goodbye.
Oh you, you who are younger than the dawn
In the morning sky
Come lie down with me
And let me abandon myself
In those eyes
Where the summer moon dreams
And the summer moon sighs...
