Play For Prominence Poem by Ejiro Stephen

Play For Prominence

There's fire on the ground
The mountain has lost its place
These literary minds
Poise to crack a face
Supremacy counts
So each figure marks for dominance
Even Clark needs Hussain's legs
To bolt into prominence
I stand tall
Before rival poets
Should I fall
I'll return to the contest
Many clamour for glory
And royalty here
But in this game of thrones
I am the one true heir.
