Planting New Seeds Poem by Gretchen Samuels

Planting New Seeds

Rating: 5.0

Everyone plays the part

I guess nobody is blame

In times of indigestion

To the cause of numb and pain

Losing is giving up

Sometimes we must quit whilst ahead

Endurance scars assurance

When you drowning at the bitter end

The masterpiece of glory

Is in the brush of the painters hand

But if his mind relives the dark story

The art could become too bland

One step creates the next

At times we must look back

Though never go back to nothing

Going forward is the track

We have to build to form

We shouldn't bend to break

Gravity in the mind

From sleep one must awake
