No one impelled his choices
He lived by his own cravings
By his own choice and tread
He engaged his vices wholly
By his longing and passions
Following His heart’s desires
Without restraint or coercion
When his days here were over
He found himself in the pit
And astonished by the reality
Of the weight of the darkness

And acquiesced the Spirit’s call
By every nudge and prodding
He engaged his virtues wholly
Following His heart’s desires
Without restraint nor coercion
When his days here were over
He found himself in paradise
And was astonished by reality
The splendor of His refulgence
