Piggyback Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Piggyback

Rating: 5.0

When everybody against with you and no smile at all,
Not a single word you hear and only the frustration you fear.
This unending road you are stepping my aimless traveler,
Perhaps you may see a little street child cries.
Take her and ride on your back and you can feel how soft is she?

This is beautiful. For me it has some resonance having returned from a battle of sorts. I found solace and a weariness was lifted. This is a piece that works as a parable. It is not a common way of writing these days and yet it is one that you skillfully employ. I am finding that your works can be split into groups. Each one having its own function. Fantastic work my friend, one that I have found rather moving.

Straight from the soul without hesitation. Very appealing. Paints a memorable word picture. Encore, Nimal! Warm regards, Sandra
