Pi Poem by Steven Buckley

Pi

Hypothesize it
Study it
Perfect scrutiny
Horrible details
Love what you’ve done
Love the suit
Your beady eyes
Look in and detect
See what?
No deeper
Beyond what you want
To where you are
Behind the screen
Some infinitesimal point
A pattern buried
Deep within mockingly
True treasure
Jesus found
Inside an ashtray
Seymour knew it
Took it with him
Kept it secret
With a sigh
And pulled it
The trigger that is
Out of happiness
The price
Of silence
Information stream
Riding the current
Paddling above
Getting lost
Exhaling smoke
Perfect lines
Fractilization
Expressions of life
Beneath the skin
In solidarity
And beauty too
Flawless simplicity
