Ph: Love: Real Choices Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Love: Real Choices

If what God gives to us should be taken away,
Does it mean we've committed a crime?
Does it mean God's unfeeling, did we play a role
Should our love for Him turn on a dime?

Does the garden exist still where you met your love,
Might another bud blossom as fair?
If God gifted you once with a Prince of a rose,
Why not trust life, why marry despair?

Our belief in our self is the essence of wealth,
Maybe you have more lessons to learn?
Or is one answer all you can take at a time,
Don't all poems have rhythms to burn?

If your love needs to leave you for personal growth
Might it serve you if let him go?
Is your feeling alone a real curse or just whim,
Shouldn't Love be much more than a show?

I am wondering how you can feel you're not loved,
If your focus is serving his joy,
For a woman who values my life like her own,
Is an angel and never a toy!
