Ph: Faith: Gravity Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Faith: Gravity

I.
Is it mass that attracts mass or mess that attracts mess
And if both, is there one of the two more primeval?
We get pressed to earth's breast but Love's attributes
Dance in a space where banks cannot confine time,
Time flows more than one direction, a four-dimensional tensor.
The love you might wish you could safely deposit somewhere
Is also a multi-dimensional asset like the universe!
It just keeps expanding! (God daily grows a bigger heart?)
Oh, how and where can I buy time now that my own is spare change?
Defeated by gravity, its flow is now my tide of choice and all movement!
It seems that all that matters is "I AM" and "Life Sucks! "

II.
Though my orbit be questioned, at times even a dashed line,
If today's sun is not the 'ONE STAR, ' or even the big bang itself,
Let the heart of my perambulation, the center of my movement,
(Even if this object of HIS affection only dreams HE's there)
Always be my faith that "I AM" is my sentient father.
May He whose imagination is the "Mother of All" never
Divorce Himself from this dream of His Great Heart
Or the Dreamers that sprang from its womb, His Children
(Inheritors of both His heart and His soul, "in His image! ")
May His rainbow survive human time, arc so that ALL eyes can see,
His Grace, forever the soul of both Love and Justice for all!
