Ph: Faith: Do Evil Acts Serve God? Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Faith: Do Evil Acts Serve God?

Rating: 5.0

Let me suggest right from the start it's tough to serve God's will?
That Bible shares, God's heart can change, gives comfort to me still!
Of course, there's right and wrong for sure, but Grace God's chosen fix,
The hope of all who ever fail, the ones who know they're hicks,
Though country cousins, second best, we're welcomed to God's feast,
The fact we are God's family means no one needs a priest!

Christ did not die to save the saved! Perhaps you're one of those
That does not need God's Grace because your poop smells like a rose!
Humility is what all need; You've no need to assault
The mote that plagues my eye at all! Your eye's log's the default
But call me to reflect my friend, each time you see a flaw,
And by your 'caring' bring me back much closer to God's law.

To legislate morality just serves your vanity,
Man's laws can't bind God's heart to ours, that's my reality,
Abortion never ends a soul God makes, that's not the point,
Your goal should be to humble self! Though fools like to anoint
Themselves to Saint, it's only Christ that lived His life sin-free,
Just bind up wounds and help, don't hurt, the people that you see.

No woman's flesh man's property! Is sin, in fact, your girth?
If so, then share a bit more wealth to aid the poor on earth,
To think you own the truth IS sin, for faith alone, saves man,
No human ever gets it right; most do the best they can.
But even your most evil act serves God's endgame it seems,
That your good works redeem your life, that's just the stuff of dreams!

To quote this treatise: Your goal should be to humble self! .... we should all bear witness to the ultimate truth, for faith alone, saves man... I hope we all get that very essential maxim of the Bible. Keep up your study, friend Brian, because we all need that refresher course frequently. Thanks brother BJ.... TC

But even your most evil act serves God's endgame it seems...... dry profound lines. A mature wisdom is reflected throughout poem. Thanks for sharing.
