Persistent Rains….

Rainy Stories,
but also rain stories:

days long
dreary drizzles

droplets drops on my face

but one thing
I still remember
crystal clear

when I asked the Lord in my daily prayer
not to send the rain
had to be at the hairdresser's

dear Lord please keep today dry

that day it was a thursday
and it remained dry
another greatest blessing
came my way!

the sunbeams smiled at me

heart warming greetings through
roses, shrubs and trees

today I enjoy the butterflies and the bees

despite the constant drips

these loveliest friendly garden-visitors
such marvelous tiny flyers
so colourful and beautiful

thank you dear Lord
for these great blessings
such wonderful creatures
despite the rain
they remain
in my domain....
