Perforated Character
Perforated characters,
Discerning hearts may watch,
With intent, there to see
Wagging pernicious tongues.
They grow a mill
Of juiciest words,
Interlard thistles unseen,
In ceaseless gush
On believers’ hearts,
Who trusted genuine faces
But cheapest content
Stifles breathe of faith.
