Perceive Imaginative Perspective Poem by Justin La Plant

Perceive Imaginative Perspective

Do you perceive what I perceive?
Perception is a powerful tool indeed.
To some the word is perception
To others it is imagination
Others still may simply call it perspective
Take for instance my invisible friend Larry
My father the scientist dismisses him as imagination
My little brother welcomes my perception with a grin
But I see Larry as being a perspective
Because my father the scientist can't imagine him
Because my little brother can't perceive him
But my perspective allows me to perceive the imagined Larry, and I am right.
My father the scientist and my little brother are too
Maybe they're just seeing the world in one dimension while I view it in three.
Is that perspective right or am I imagining things?
I don't know, what is your perception of all this?
