Peacock Poem by Naleen De Alwis

Peacock

Rating: 4.0

Showing to the world
The beauty it bears
The plumage
Glamorous,
Multi-coloured,
Bonny, shiny,
Impressive,
Photogenic
A feast to eye.

Proud accolades
Piled up high
From all the corners
Of the globe
opine,
'No such a beautiful bird'
Not seeing the bird
Not hearing the bird
The ‘beauty' it bears
And the auditory stimuli
When it turns back.
