Moon Poem by Naleen De Alwis

Moon

Rating: 5.0

Never tired
Never dull
she comes from
East to west
Shedding her coolness
Onto hearts heated during the day.

She sheds the light
To light the blackout
And enchants the minds with clemency
At the moment
The world gathers darkness with me.

She scales up in the sky
Knitting a yarn
With silvery threads
To dress the earth
That is bare.

Well conceived and wonderfully penned. A beautiful ode to the moon. Thanks for sharing.
