Peace Like No Other Poem by Alicia Del Fava

I love the Lord. He is my all. I find my joy in Him alone.

So many yearn for inner peace and think that self should be increased.

They use such words as 'loving me'. They focus on their 'inner being'.

It's all about them finding joy within their core. This is the ploy.

But here's the error of that way. For man will always go astray.

A self sustaining love can't last. Our hearts are evil at full mast.

And that is why, in Jesus Christ, a perfect Being was sacrificed.

In selflessness completion soared. So I'll be less for Christ is Lord!
