Peace As Promised

Still quaking twenty four seven
Afraid what others tell
When found unfit for Heaven
I’d burn in endless hell

I learned that God’s The Only One
Who’s righteous through and through
That only through His living Son
His face we’ll ever view

They say He came from Heaven’s throne
For fallen man to die
That through His blood, our hearts of stone
He’d change to rise on high

If this is true He rose supreme
There’s hope for such as me
Christ too beyond my wildest dream
Could set my spirit free

I’m calling out I’m calling clear
Beyond the realms of space
On bended knees I’m praying here
For Christ and saving grace

O Lord my God I do believe
You died and rose above
Please grant my sinful soul reprieve
Baptize me with Your love

Speak Light into my wayward life
Speak peace into my soul
Sever my ways of foolish strife
And guide me to my goal

Lord, give me ring and wedding gown
Your Guarantee to live
Nothing will rob me of the crown
That Jesus died to give
